Konami expands eFootball Championship 2027 World Finals and prize pool

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced expansions for the eFootball Championship 2027 esports season. The number of slots available for the World Finals in both the console and mobile divisions will increase from 16 to 24 players. Additionally, the total prize pool has been tripled, rising from $100,000 to $300,000.

The competitive season features three primary pathways to the World Finals: the Club Event, which selects top players for partner clubs like FC Barcelona and Manchester United; the Open track, which is accessible to all participants; and various regional local events. Winners of these local competitions will receive direct qualification to the finals.

The World Finals are scheduled to take place in the summer of 2027. The season has already commenced with the eFootball Championship 2027 FC Internazionale Milano event. Winners of Club Finals will also receive an exclusive Club Tour, including a stadium visit and an official match attendance.
