Konami launches major eFootball update for new season

Konami Digital Entertainment has launched a major update (version 6.0.0) for its football simulation game, eFootball, marking the start of a new competitive season across consoles, PC, and mobile platforms.

Key gameplay additions include the ‘Custom Tournament’ mode, allowing up to eight participants to host personalized competitions, and ‘Fluid Formations,’ which enables players to switch tactical setups dynamically during matches. The update also introduces the ‘Dynamic Volley’ mechanic for improved aerial shot control and a wide array of new player animations.

Notable content updates feature the debut of manager Antonio Conte, who is the first to possess two ‘Link-Up Plays.’ Additionally, Konami collaborated with PlatinumGames to revamp daily mini-games through the ‘Daily Super Play’ function. The launch is accompanied by a ‘New Season Campaign’ offering in-game rewards, and new ambassador editions for players such as Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal.
