Konami unveils major eFootball updates at Bangkok event
Konami Digital Entertainment announced a series of eFootball updates during the eFootball CONNECT livestream held in Bangkok, Thailand. The company introduced forward Sergio Agüero as a new Legend, equipped with the “Blitz Curve” and “Low Screamer” abilities, and welcomed back Wayne Rooney with new “Phenomenal Finish” and “Willpower” skills and a +3 shooting boost.
New in‑game features will arrive in August, including a Custom Tournament mode, the Overload team style, and the ability to set separate attack and defence formations. The Treasure Link chain event returns, offering a pool of 250 player cards such as Rio Ferdinand and Jan Koller. A unified Living Legends pool combines Showtime and Big‑Time cards featuring Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodríguez, Luka Modrić, Neymar Jr., Kevin De Bruyne and Manuel Neuer. Additional updates add PvP national‑team events, new avatar icons for Erling Haaland and Rodri, and a promotion granting 1,000 free eFootball points through the streaming link.
