Končar and Dalekovod win €53.8 million wind farm and transmission contract in North Macedonia

Croatian engineering firms Končar and Dalekovod have been awarded contracts worth €53.76 million by Alcazar Energy for a wind‑farm project and related transmission infrastructure in North Macedonia. The works include a 337.5 MW wind farm, a 400/35 kV substation at Baltalija and a 400 kV double‑circuit overhead line that will serve as the main grid connection point.

The contracts, split between €22.49 million for the substation and overhead line and €31.27 million for the wind farm, extend Končar’s presence in the Macedonian market and underline the companies’ expertise in complex renewable‑energy projects. Dalekovod is majority‑owned by Končar (75.16%).
