Konda Marta accuses Camama officials of land usurpation and corruption
The company Konda Marta has denounced alleged irregularities and abuse of power involving the Camama Municipal Administration, the National Police, and local inspection services in Luanda, Angola.
Daniel Afonso Neto, Chairman of the Board of Konda Marta, reported that inspection officials recently demolished a wall at the company's premises and seized a partner's machine. Although the company paid 150,000 kwanzas to an official identified as Paciência Curinge, the equipment has not been returned.
Furthermore, the company claims it was subsequently presented with a demand for 9 million kwanzas, allegedly through a payment slip issued in the name of a private company rather than the Treasury's Single Account. Konda Marta has referred the matter to the Attorney General's Office (PGR) to address these accusations of land usurpation and corruption.
