Kone named Finland’s most reputable public company
Kone has been named Finland’s most reputable publicly traded company according to the ‘Reputation & Trust 2026’ survey. Conducted by Reputation and Trust Analytics in collaboration with the Finnish Stock Exchange Foundation and the Finnish Shareholders’ Association, the study involved over 9,000 individual investors.
Kone achieved an ‘excellent’ reputation score of 4.15 out of 5. Analysts suggest that a major corporate acquisition announced in the spring helped propel the company to this position, reflecting investor interest in growth and international expansion. Other companies achieving ‘excellent’ ratings include Wärtsilä, Vaisala, and Ponsse.
Neste saw the most significant improvement in reputation, climbing from 71st to 27th place. In terms of leadership, Marimekko CEO Tiina Alahuhta-Kasko was voted the best CEO for the third consecutive time, followed by Nokia CEO Justin Hotard in second place. Conversely, Citycon received the lowest reputation score, while Posti Group ranked second to last.
