Konfederacja discusses 800 plus program and budget deficit

Konfederacja Wolność i Niepodległość representatives have addressed the future of the ‘800 plus’ social program. Spokesperson Wojciech Machulski stated that while the party disagrees with the program's existence, they will not promise to abolish it to voters, noting that a potential president might not sign such a repeal. Instead, the party suggests targeting the wealthiest citizens for the removal of these benefits to save state budget funds.

Krzysztof Bosak, leader of the National Movement, noted that differences within the Confederation regarding the program are minimal. He acknowledged that while social supplements for children serve a positive role, the primary concern is whether the state can afford them at the current scale for everyone. The party identifies the budget deficit as a major challenge and advocates for cutting various expenditures, including public media, to achieve a balanced budget.
