Konfederacja Korony Polskiej updates leadership succession rules
The Konfederacja Korony Polskiej party has amended its statutes to establish a succession plan in the event that leader Grzegorz Braun is arrested, hospitalized, or otherwise unable to perform his duties. Under the new regulations, the first and second vice-presidents, Włodzimierz Skalik and Roman Fritz, would assume leadership responsibilities.
This organizational shift comes as the party experiences rising popularity in recent polls, reaching approximately 7.6% support. Alongside these internal changes, the party has outlined a radical economic platform. Proposed measures include the abolition of PIT and CIT taxes, the elimination of mandatory ZUS contributions, and replacing them with a lower tax on the wage fund paid by employers. The program also advocates for a 1.5% revenue-based tax to replace CIT and seeks significant reforms to VAT and the flat-rate tax system.
