Kong: Survivor Instinct launches on Nintendo Switch

The action-adventure game ‘Kong: Survivor Instinct’ has officially launched on the Nintendo Switch. Developed by 7Levels in collaboration with Legendary Entertainment, the title is based on the MonsterVerse franchise and follows the events of ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’.

Players take on the role of David, an oil rig worker navigating a devastated city to find his daughter, Stacy. The game features 2.5D gameplay with Metroidvania elements, combining platforming, combat, and environmental puzzles. While Kong is not a playable character, he acts as a constant environmental force that can alter the landscape and paths.

Players can utilize the fictional Monarch ORCA Σ technology to influence the behavior of Titans, using their strength to navigate collapsing buildings and overcome obstacles. The game is also compatible with the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
