Konin hosts record-breaking St. Bartholomew Fair
The 19th St. Bartholomew Fair is currently taking place in the old town of Konin, marking a record-breaking year for the event. The fair features over 130 exhibitors offering a wide variety of goods, including antiques, books, records, toys, porcelain, jewelry, handmade crafts, and traditional food products such as meats and cheeses.
Organized by Mateusz Cieślak, the event aims to showcase local Konin artisans while maintaining an open format that allows residents to participate by selling personal treasures. The fair has expanded its footprint across several streets and squares in the old town. The program includes musical performances by various local groups and the Ksenia Shaushyshvili Quartet, as well as educational lectures.
