Koninklijke HFC opens new clubhouse in Haarlem

Koninklijke HFC has officially opened its new clubhouse in Haarlem. Although heavy rain prevented the first scheduled match on the new main field, the club held festive opening activities that attracted approximately 3,000 visitors.

Club chairman Just Spee noted that the new facility was a long-awaited necessity, as the previous clubhouse was built when the club had 800 members, whereas it has now grown to 2,000. The new building is designed to support the club's dual focus on high-level football and lifelong membership, including amenities like a billiard room that honors deceased members.

The municipality of Haarlem, which owns and manages the changing rooms, acted as a partner during construction. An official visit by Sports Alderman Eva de Raadt is scheduled for next weekend to coincide with the first match on the new main field.
