Konjic flood recovery: New homes inspected by officials

Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić and Minister Nerin Dizdar visited the Trusina settlement in Konjic to inspect newly constructed homes for families displaced by the October 2024 floods.

The visit included inspections of individual houses for the Šahić and Šte family, which are now awaiting technical acceptance and occupancy permits. This initiative is part of a broader reconstruction program managed by the Federal Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees. To date, six individual houses have been completed in Konjic and Fojnica, with a fourth unit in Konjic nearing completion. Additionally, construction is underway on an eight-apartment building in Jablanica, expected to be finished by spring.

The total value for the construction and supervision of 15 residential units across Konjic, Fojnica, and Jablanica exceeds 2.56 million KM (excluding VAT). Nikšić emphasized the government's commitment to providing dignified housing and long-term support for the affected regions.
