Konka Group to delist from Shenzhen Stock Exchange
Konka Group, once known as China’s “top color TV stock,” will delist from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange following a decision to voluntarily terminate its listing. The company’s A-shares and B-shares are scheduled to be delisted within five trading days of the announcement.
The move follows a period of severe financial distress, with the company reporting cumulative net losses of approximately 20.3 billion yuan over the past four years. By the end of 2025, Konka’s net assets had fallen to negative 6.08 billion yuan, triggering delisting risk warnings earlier in the year.
Financial reports indicate that rising product costs in the consumer electronics sector and ongoing losses in the semiconductor business contributed to the decline. Because the delisting is a voluntary application approved by shareholders, the company will not enter a delisting reorganization period. Instead, its shares will transition to the delisting board of the National Equities Exchange and Quotations system.
