Konny and Manu Reimann face loss of pet parrot

The couple recently visited the ‘Parrots in Paradise’ rescue station on Big Island to reunite with their birds, Erwin and Ellie, whom they had placed in the facility months ago.

Konny Reimann explained that the decision to leave the parrots behind rather than moving them to Barbados was made to avoid the physical strain of travel, fearing Erwin might not survive the journey. The episode also revealed that the original parrot named Erwin had actually passed away in 2019, a fact the couple had not previously disclosed. This loss follows the recent death of their dog, Phoebie.
