Konny and Manu Reimann face visa and housing issues in Barbados

German reality TV personalities Konny and Manu Reimann are facing significant challenges during their relocation to Barbados. After living in the United States and Hawaii for many years, the couple is attempting to establish a new permanent residence on the Caribbean island.

Their transition has been complicated by bureaucratic hurdles regarding their residency visas. Specifically, immigration authorities have requested additional insurance because their existing health insurance from the United States is not recognized in Barbados. Konny Reimann has described the administrative requirements as “unglaublich viel Kleinkram” (an incredible amount of small stuff) that is taxing their nerves.

In addition to visa issues, the couple has encountered problems with their new home. They discovered that the historical property was significantly older than the 1997 construction date stated in the documentation, with the seller claiming it was actually built in 1972. The couple also reported various maintenance issues, including a broken air conditioning unit and a kitchen in poor condition.
