Konopiště Castle and Czech regions announce autumn cultural programs

Konopiště Castle has announced an autumn program featuring themed tours and seasonal events. Starting October 7, visitors can participate in evening tours of the Rose Garden to view exotic vegetation brought to the estate by Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este. Other scheduled activities include tours of previously inaccessible areas focused on the Archduke's travel adventures, as well as educational sessions regarding aristocratic upbringing and education in November.

The autumn season at Konopiště will conclude in late November with a program featuring traditional figures like devils, St. Nicholas, and angels in the castle cellars.

Other regional cultural activities in the Czech Republic include evening historical tours at Duchcov Castle, a chestnut gathering and tree planting event in Litvínov, and a medieval themed day at the Březno Archaeological Open-Air Museum to mark International Archaeology Day. Additionally, Chomutov will host a firefighting rescue competition and the band Laura will celebrate their 40th anniversary with a concert in Most.
