Konrad Urban Gravel X20 and KTM Macina E‑bikes Tested

Konrad’s Urban Gravel X20 is a gravel‑oriented e‑bike that combines a Pinion C1.12i electronic gearbox with a Mahle X20 rear hub motor. The bike is powered by a 250 Wh battery that the manufacturer claims can deliver just over 60 km of range. Its 12 gears are spaced by 17.7 % intervals, offering smooth cadence control, while a carbon fork is paired with an aluminium frame. Reviewers noted a very rigid seatpost that reduces comfort on rough terrain, but praised the clean cable routing and extensive online configurator options.

The KTM Macina Kapoho Exonic Di2 is a heavier e‑bike, weighing more than 24 kg, equipped with a Shimano motor and a removable battery pack. Test rides highlighted the bike’s bold styling and a size mismatch for taller riders, as well as the weight penalty of the battery housing. After earlier motor reliability issues, the motor and battery were replaced, restoring performance. The model also features a parallelogram fork and dual thin top tubes, emphasizing a mix of ruggedness and sport‑bike aesthetics.
