Konstantinos Kyranakis claims Greece is stronger than during the crisis
Konstantinos Kyranakis, Secretary of the New Democracy party, stated that Greece is a much stronger and more resilient nation than it was during the previous economic crisis. Speaking on SKAI TV, he noted that the country's international image has improved significantly, referencing recent positive comments from the US Secretary of State.
Kyranakis highlighted economic milestones, specifically noting that the target for the average monthly wage reached 1,500 euros in 2026, ahead of the original 2027 schedule, with projections now aiming for 1,650 euros. He emphasized that while Greece is not a paradise and many citizens still struggle with insufficient income, the government remains committed to setting new goals for 2030.
He acknowledged the difficulties faced by some citizens and stated that the party intends to approach upcoming elections by addressing the needs of the Greek people directly.
