Konstantinos Mavropanos named Championship Player of the Month amid transfer rumors

Konstantinos Mavropanos has been named the Championship Player of the Month following a strong run of form for West Ham. The Greek defender, who scored four goals in five league games, recently expressed his commitment to the club, stating that leaving was “never an option” as he aims to help the team return to the Premier League following their relegation.

However, conflicting reports have emerged regarding his long-term future. While previous reports suggested a two-year contract extension had been agreed upon, journalist Florian Plettenberg claims that no such extension has been signed and that no plans for one currently exist. Furthermore, reports indicate that Mavropanos has switched agents ahead of potential transfer interest in January or next summer.
