Konstantinos Tzolakis leads Hull City to historic Premier League start

Hull City goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis has achieved a historic start to the Premier League season. Following a 0-0 draw against Aston Villa, the 23-year-old has recorded three consecutive clean sheets in three matches.

This performance makes Tzolakis only the third goalkeeper in Premier League history to start a season with three clean sheets for a newly promoted side, joining Sasa Ilic (1998/99) and Jonas Lössl (2017/18). Hull City remains unbeaten in their first three matches, securing seven points with wins against Manchester United and Coventry City.

Hull City President Acun Ilıcalı noted that Tzolakis was a personal choice for the club, having been impressed by his performance in the UEFA Conference League. Hull City's goalkeeper coach, Erbil Bozkurt, described the transfer as a significant success, highlighting Tzolakis's calm demeanor and development potential.
