Kontron expands KBox F series with two new industrial computers
Kontron, a global provider of IoT and embedded computing technology, has announced the expansion of its KBox F series with the introduction of two new industrial computers: the KBox F-203-RPS and the KBox F-204-RPS. These systems are designed to meet the diverse requirements of Industry 4.0, edge computing, and industrial IoT applications.
Both models feature Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3 S-series socket processors (12th, 13th, or 14th generation) with a TDP of up to 65W and support up to 96GB of DDR5 memory. The KBox F-203-RPS offers configurations with either two or four GbE ports, catering to general industrial computing or high-connectivity needs such as machine vision and IoT gateways.
The KBox F-204-RPS is designed for higher scalability, providing one PCIe x16 or two PCIe x8 expansion slots to accommodate graphics cards, network cards, or AI acceleration cards. It also supports up to four 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD drives, making it suitable for data-intensive workloads, video processing, and edge computing.
