Kontron public offer falls short as Ennoconn fails to gain majority
During the acceptance period of its public mandatory tender offer for Kontron AG, Ennoconn Corporation subscribed roughly 12.3 million shares, representing about 19.5 % of the voting rights. The subscription amount means Ennoconn will not hold a majority of Kontron's shares after the transaction is completed.
The final acceptance ratio remains pending pending regulatory clearance. The offer is subject to the required foreign‑direct‑investment (FDI) approvals in Germany, and the timeline for the review has not been specified.
The acceptance period ended on 30 July 2026, after which the share subscription figures were disclosed by Kontron.
