Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor athletics team wins nine medals at Turkish championships in İzmir

The Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor athletics team secured a total of nine medals at the Yeşilay U23 and Senior Turkish Athletics Championships held in İzmir from 3‑5 July 2026. The squad earned four gold, two silver and three bronze medals. Gold medals were won by Cuma Özcan in the 3000 m hurdles, Seyhun Efe Bükmen in the multi‑event, Burak Yılmaz in U23 triple jump and Celalettin Nigar in the U20 multi‑event. Silver medals went to Yonca Kutluk in the 5000 m and Enes Talha Şenses in high jump, while the bronze medals were claimed by Berra Yıldız (U20 multi‑event), Enbiya Yazıcı (5000 m) and İsmail Gündoğdu (cirit). The performance underlines the club’s emphasis on developing Turkish athletics talent.
