Konya Şeker to pay 285 million TL in promotions to employees

Konya Şeker has announced a total bank promotion payment of 285 million TL to be distributed among approximately 5,700 employees in its food group. This follows an agreement reached with Garanti Bankası.

Under this arrangement, each eligible employee will receive 50,000 TL. Ramazan Erkoyuncu, President of PANKOBİRLİK and Chairman of the Konya Beet Growers Cooperative, stated that the company has shifted its policy to ensure these bank promotions are paid directly to the employees rather than being retained by the institution. Erkoyuncu emphasized that such payments are a natural right of the payroll holders.

In addition to these one-time promotion payments, Konya Şeker manages significant monthly payroll operations, distributing approximately 500 million TL per month, totaling roughly 6 billion TL annually.
