Konya Governor receives commemorative gift from AKSED President

İbrahim Günay, President of the Alija Izetbegović Culture, Art and Education Association (AKSED), visited Konya Governor İbrahim Akın to discuss the association's ongoing activities and future projects.

AKSED was established in 2016 to preserve and pass on the intellectual legacy of Alija Izetbegović, the first President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, focusing on themes of justice, freedom, and human dignity. During the meeting, Governor Akın emphasized the importance of cooperation between the state and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in promoting social development and cultural values.

As a commemorative gesture, Günay presented Akın with a special silver commemorative coin and certificate. The item was designed by the General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House to honor the 100th anniversary of Alija Izetbegović's birth.
