Konya hosts fifth annual Music Hackathon for young musicians

Music Hackathon Konya Young Culture Card music production youth competition

The Konya Metropolitan Municipality Young Culture Card is organizing its fifth annual Music Hackathon, a first-of-its-kind event in Turkey. The competition will be hosted at the Atmosfer Bosna Youth Center.

Participating music groups will engage in a 42-hour intensive production process, creating original songs with lyrics and compositions based on a specific theme. Mentors will provide guidance throughout the creative process. All participant needs during the event will be covered by the Young Culture Card.

The grand final is scheduled for November 22 at the Selçuklu Congress Center. Performances will be evaluated by a professional jury and through public voting to determine first, second, and third-place winners.

Beyond the competition, the program offers professional studio recording and arrangement support. The resulting works are intended for release on digital music platforms, allowing young musicians to reach a wider audience.
