Konya opens sixth digital center under Villages of Tomorrow project

The Yarma Digital Center has officially opened in the Karatay district of Konya, marking the sixth location established under the ‘Villages of Tomorrow’ project. This initiative is a joint effort between Trendyol and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aimed at supporting rural development through digital technology.

The center provides diverse educational and commercial resources. For producers, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives, the facility offers training in product development, branding, digital marketing, e-commerce, and e-export. For children and youth, the curriculum focuses on digital literacy, artificial intelligence, coding, and robotics.

This project follows previous center openings in Adana, Izmir, Diyarbakır, Sakarya, and Denizli, with further installation work currently underway in Hatay. The Konya center operates through local partnerships including the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Karatay Municipality, Konya Chamber of Commerce, and KTO Karatay University.
