Konya joins Cities and Regions for Cyclists network

Konya Metropolitan Municipality has officially joined the Cities and Regions for Cyclists network, an initiative under the European Cyclists' Federation. This move follows Konya's designation as the 2026 European Cycling Capital by the Association of European Sports Cities and Capitals (ACES).

The membership aims to enhance cycling culture and transportation within the city while providing a platform to share Konya's local expertise with international urban centers. Through this network, the municipality intends to study successful cycling applications and innovative projects from various European cities to integrate cycling more effectively into urban planning.
