Konya launches family program for seasonal farm workers and intensifies feed‑crop inspections

The Konya Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services organized a free community event for the children of seasonal farm‑worker families. Activities included educational games, face painting, sports, an open‑air cinema, health screenings and complimentary haircuts. Director Arif Topal emphasized the state's commitment to supporting families who work the land, saying, "Toprağa emek veren, alın teriyle ülkemizin bereketine katkı sunan ailelerimizin her zaman yanındayız."

At the same time, the Konya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry continued systematic field inspections in the Altınekin district, reviewing feed‑crop fields that serve as the basis for agricultural support applications. The inspections aim to ensure proper use of subsidies and to raise overall farm productivity, with officials pledging ongoing monitoring.
