Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Emlak Konut Yönetim Hizmetleri A. Ş. have signed a protocol to launch free bicycle repair services within TOKİ housing complexes in Konya. The initiative, introduced during European Mobility Week, aims to encourage cycling use in the city.

The program's initial rollout took place at Meram Konevi Residences, Dorukkent TOKİ Residences, and Emlak Konut Temaşehir Middle School. Local officials, including Konya Governor İbrahim Akın and Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, participated in the launch events.

Mayor Altay highlighted that Konya possesses 680 kilometers of bicycle paths, the most in Turkey. Emlak Konut General Manager Mehmet Akif Küçükdağ stated that the project focuses on repairing bicycles for children and residents, with plans to expand this service to all sites managed by Emlak Konut across the country.
