Konya Metropolitan Municipality Umrah competition winners return home
The first group of students and their families, who won the Umrah-prize Siyer competition organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, has returned to Konya after a 9-day trip.
Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay noted that the group spent six days in Mecca and three days in Medina. The program aimed to allow middle and high school students to witness significant sites of Islamic history and perform Umrah rituals. Altay emphasized the municipality's commitment to supporting the spiritual and social development of young people through such initiatives.
