Konya to host 23rd International Mystic Music Festival in September 2026
The 23rd International Konya Mystic Music Festival is scheduled to take place from September 21 to September 30, 2026. Hosted by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, the event aims to expand beyond indoor venues to encompass the entire city.
The festival will feature 10 international music groups from countries including Romania, the Netherlands, Colombia, Russia, Taiwan, Tunisia, and Cuba, alongside 10 local Turkish musical ensembles. All events are planned to be free and open to the public.
In addition to musical performances, the program will include music workshops at Taş Bina, whirling dervish ceremonies at Mevlana Gül Bahçesi, and various exhibitions at cultural sites such as Meydan Evleri, Depo No:4, and Panorama. The promotional event for the festival was held at the historic Sırçalı Medrese.
