Konyaspor ends Slovenia camp after 3-1 friendly defeat to Zalaegerszegi

Turkish Süper Lig side Konyaspor concluded its pre‑season training in Maribor, Slovenia, on 19 July, wrapping up a two‑stage camp that began on 1 July in Konya and continued in the Slovenian capital.

During the final stage of preparations, Konyaspor played a special friendly against Hungarian club Zalaegerszegi. The match ended 3‑1 in favor of Zalaegerszegi, with Konyaspor’s sole goal scored by recent signing Jackson Muleka. The result was used by the coaching staff to assess tactical and fitness issues ahead of the 2026‑27 season.

The club will now shift to its last pre‑season phase in Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia, before returning to Turkey for the upcoming league campaign.
