Kołobrzeg hosts Offshore Power Race and Planet Baltic SUP Race

Kołobrzeg, Poland, serves as the host for major maritime sporting events in August 2026, including the Offshore Power Race and the Planet Baltic SUP Race.

The Offshore Power Race features 22 teams competing for the title of Polish Maritime Sailing Champion ORC. The regatta includes short races near the Kołobrzeg pier and a long-distance race navigating around offshore wind farms in the Baltic Sea. The event is organized by the West Pomeranian District Sailing Association and MK Sailing.

In the Planet Baltic SUP Race, over 100 paddlers from 11 countries competed under challenging Baltic Sea conditions, including winds up to 23 knots and waves reaching 1.5 meters. Marta Apanasewicz successfully defended her MVP title for the fifth time, while Benyam Bossack secured his second consecutive MVP title in the men's category.
