Kopdes Merah Putih cooperatives in Probolinggo reach Rp5.32 billion in transactions

Twenty-nine Kopdes Merah Putih village cooperatives in Probolinggo, East Java, recorded a total transaction value of Rp5.32 billion throughout 2026. According to data from the East Java Village Cooperative Information System (Simkopdes), these transactions were largely driven by the sale of SPHP (Food Supply and Price Stabilization) rice.

Specifically, 5kg medium SPHP rice accounted for the largest portion of the value, with 442,777 transactions totaling Rp4.88 billion. Other significant transactions included cooking oil, which reached a value of Rp421.47 million. Minister of Village Ahmad Riza Patria noted that the presence of Kopdes Merah Putih is intended to synergize with existing cooperative activities and strengthen local economic movement through government support.
