KORA advances to X Factor 2026 Bootcamp

Benedetta Cornalba, performing under the stage name KORA, has advanced to the Bootcamp stage of X Factor 2026 following her audition. The 21-year-old Milanese singer-songwriter describes her musical style as ‘melodic rap,’ a fusion of urban grit and melodic singing.

Before appearing on the talent show, Cornalba had already established a musical career. She initially released music in English under the pseudonym Blessed, including the track ‘Losing My Mind,’ before transitioning to Italian lyrics with releases such as ‘Ragazza demodè’ and ‘Silhouette.’ In addition to her own discography, she has worked as a songwriter for other emerging artists.

During her audition, where she performed ‘Prima che’ by Nayt, the judges offered mixed reactions. Francesco Gabbani praised her credibility, while Jake La Furia questioned her songwriting abilities. Despite the debate among the panel, she successfully passed the auditions.
