Kora Karvouni debuts as director at Thiseion Theatre

Kora Karvouni makes her directorial debut with the production ‘Chorise me AE kai SIA’ (Break up with me via AE and SIA) at the Thiseion Theatre. The play is a contemporary French comedy by Tristan Petitgirard.

The story follows Eric, a man who runs a professional service where he enters homes to announce breakups on behalf of those who lack the courage or composure to do it themselves. The plot thickens when a new assignment brings him face-to-face with Gaël, the woman who previously left him without explanation, and her current partner, Agathon.

The production features Michalis Syriopoulos, Vaso Kavallieratou, and Stathis Koikas, with music by Foivos Delivorias. The play uses comedic mechanisms to explore the human tendency to outsource difficult truths and the complexities of interpersonal relationships.
