KORE Summit returns to Kimberley for fourth year

The Kootenay Outdoor Recreation Enterprise (KORE) will host its fourth annual Summit on September 17 and 18 at the Kimberley Alpine Resort Conference Centre. As Canada’s only conference dedicated to the outdoor gear industry, the event attracts makers, designers, and entrepreneurs from across North America.

This year’s summit features speakers addressing engineering, design, sustainability, marketing, and manufacturing. The event includes social activities such as mountain biking, trail running, and rock climbing in the Purcell Mountains.

The summit will overlap with the debut of the Stillpoint Festival, hosted by Wildsight Kimberley-Cranbrook, which focuses on environment, art, and film. A highlight of the festival includes a 50th Anniversary Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour Summit screening atop North Star Mountain.
