Kore University of Enna celebrates 10 years of Confucius Institute

The Confucius Institute at Kore University of Enna (UKE) celebrated its tenth anniversary, marking a decade of promoting Chinese language and culture in Sicily. Established in 2016 in collaboration with Dalian University of Foreign Languages, the institute held a ceremony featuring institutional representatives, including a counselor from the Chinese Embassy in Italy and a delegation from Dalian University.

The event included cultural performances such as guzheng music and traditional dance. Additionally, the fourth Chinese–European Scholars Forum (CESF 2026) was held, bringing together Chinese and European academics to discuss topics ranging from linguistics and literature to the application of artificial intelligence in Chinese language studies and pedagogy.
