Korea-Abu Dhabi Networking Forum promotes AI and healthcare cooperation

The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce co-hosted the ‘Korea-Abu Dhabi Networking Forum’ in Seoul to strengthen economic ties and provide networking opportunities for exporters.

Key sectors for cooperation include artificial intelligence (AI), defense, mobility, bio-healthcare, and green energy. During the event, Jasaeng Medical Academy and Emirates International Hospital Group (EIHG) signed a memorandum of understanding to pursue a strategic partnership aimed at the globalization of Korean medicine.

AI startup FortyTwoMaru participated in the forum to discuss business opportunities involving on-premise, closed-network AI solutions. The company aims to address local demands for data sovereignty and security in sectors such as digital government platforms, fintech, and industrial automation. The forum included B2B consultations between 31 Korean companies and 9 Abu Dhabi-based firms, covering 57 individual sessions in fields such as robotics and consumer goods.
