Korea Art Festival launches nationwide through September
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with the Korea Arts Management Service, has launched the ‘2026 Korea Art Festival’ to be held throughout September across the country.
The festival features a wide array of major events, including four biennales (Gwangju, Gyeonggi Ceramic, Busan, and Jeju) and two prominent art fairs, Kiaf Seoul and Frieze Seoul. Additionally, 96 museums nationwide are participating in the festivities.
To encourage public engagement, the program offers various benefits such as significant discounts on exhibition tickets, specialized railway tourism packages through KORAIL, and curated ‘art travel’ programs. The festival also extends to international hubs, with media and installation works by 16 Korean artists being displayed at Incheon, Gimpo, and Gimhae International Airports through November.
