Korea & Company Group rolls out AI literacy series and internal film program for staff
Korea & Company Group released a ten‑episode short‑form “AI Literacy” media series to boost employee competence in generative AI, covering ethics, information security, legal standards and practical usage. The series, produced entirely with generative AI tools, is split into three parts—awareness, tool/application, and responsibility—and teaches four core principles: use approved AI tools, limit unapproved tools, forbid personal data entry, and prohibit deep‑fake creation. It showcases the group’s own AI platforms Gemini Enterprise and ChatHK, the latter of which logged 250,000 messages and a 50 % monthly active user rate within a year.
In parallel, the group’s headquarters in Pangyo hosted a lunch‑time short‑film screening called “Korea Theater.” The event, part of the ongoing “Knowledge Sharing” program, featured domestic and international short films and animations around the theme of “challenge, growth and new beginnings.” The screening was offered both on‑site and online, encouraging employees from all subsidiaries—tyres, batteries, thermal‑management and IT—to engage in horizontal communication and cultural exchange. Both initiatives aim to foster a proactive, collaborative culture across the conglomerate’s diverse business units.
