Korea forecasts AI automating most jobs as Nigeria trains students in future‑ready skills

The Korea Development Institute projected that artificial intelligence could automate over 90% of tasks in more than 90% of jobs by 2030. Labor economist Han Joseph warned that job creation will depend on companies' ability to develop new roles and on policies such as a government AI‑impact dashboard. He added, “Net job creation is only possible if new labor demand is generated quickly.”

In Nigeria, MTN Nigeria’s Live it 100 on Campus roadshow is visiting seven universities to equip more than 20,000 students with practical, project‑driven skills. Partnering with the Project Management Institute, the programme emphasizes problem‑solving, adaptability, collaboration and leadership, with PMI’s George Asamani noting, “The future belongs to people who can take an idea and make it happen.” The initiative aims to prepare graduates for an economy reshaped by AI, automation and digital transformation.
