Korea New Farmers Association holds convention in Gwangyang

The Korea New Farmers Association held a large-scale convention in Gwangyang, South Jeolla Province, bringing together approximately 1,000 members and agricultural stakeholders. The event aimed to strengthen unity among new farmers and discuss strategies to respond to the rapidly changing agricultural environment and rural crises.

During the assembly, participants performed a symbolic gesture to commit to a “great transformation of agriculture.” The Korea New Farmers Association Jeonnam Chapter also presented 5 million won in hometown love donations to Gwangyang City to express gratitude for the event's support. Leaders emphasized the importance of new farmers acting as leading agricultural figures to enhance national competitiveness and protect rural communities.
