Korea Ocean Business Corporation to host 2nd KOBC Ocean Academy

The Korea Ocean Business Corporation (KOBC) has announced it will host the 2nd KOBC Ocean Academy on October 31 at the National Maritime Museum in Busan. This public engagement program aims to teach the importance of the ocean and practical ways to protect the marine environment.

The event features a variety of activities, including a stamp tour using a ‘Sea Citizen Passport,’ seven experiential booths, a goods zone, and face painting for children. A main talk concert will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, featuring comedian Heo Kyung-hwan and YouTuber Kim Bobby, who will lead discussions and a quiz show regarding marine environments.

KOBC is accepting pre-registrations for the talk concert via its official Instagram account for approximately 200 participants. KOBC President Ahn Byung-gil stated that the event has expanded its experiential booths to encourage citizens to naturally consider ways to practice marine environmental protection in their daily lives.
