Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio Association to host GMP training

The Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio Association (KPBMA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), will hold an on-site training session for quasi-drug Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) on November 10. The event will take place at the Dong-A Pharmaceutical Dangjin plant.

Targeting 20 manufacturing and quality control professionals, the program aims to strengthen practical expertise in GMP standards and facility operations. The curriculum includes an introduction to MFDS policies, discussions on GMP implementation considerations, and a case study on the voluntary adoption of GMP for ‘Gargrin’ mouthwash.

Participants will also tour the facility to observe the IT systems used in the production of ‘Bacchus’ and examine quality control systems related to data integrity. The training will conclude with tours of raw material and finished product storage areas, followed by Q&A sessions and discussions.
