Korea Premium Weeks 2026 launches to boost global investment

The inaugural ‘Korea Premium Weeks 2026’ began on the 28th, serving as South Korea’s largest integrated capital market investor relations (IR) event. Jointly hosted by the Financial Services Commission and the Korea Exchange, the three-week program aims to consolidate previously scattered IR sessions and conferences to enhance the global competitiveness of the domestic capital market.

Participating in the event are 42 institutions and 55 listed companies. The schedule includes approximately 25 different programs held in a relay format through next month. The first week, designated as ‘Core Week,’ focuses on global conferences for institutional investors, covering topics such as capital market reform, corporate governance improvement, and foreign exchange market reforms.

Prominent global financial figures and institutions, including representatives from BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, and S&P Dow Jones Indices, are scheduled to attend. Major South Korean corporations, such as Samsung Electronics and SK hynix, will participate in corporate briefings. The event also features one-on-one meetings between global institutional investors and domestic companies, as well as specialized programs for individual investors regarding asset management and financial products.
