Korea Sports Toto marks 25th anniversary and Korean Series launch

Korea Sports Leisure, the trustee operator for Sports Toto issued by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, is marking the 25th anniversary of Sports Toto issuance. Since 2001, the National Sports Promotion Fund generated through Sports Toto has reached a total of 21 trillion won, which is utilized to support grassroots, professional, and disabled sports.

To commemorate this milestone, the organization released a commemorative video detailing its history and public role, and is hosting a quiz event on its Batman platform. Winners of the quiz, which asks for the date of the first Sports Toto issuance, will receive bet money.

In related sports news, the first game of the Korean Series between the KT Wiz and Samsung Lions is scheduled for October 3 at Suwon KT Wiz Park.
