Korea Startup Forum hosts financial training for Future Founder teams

The Korea Startup Forum (Kospo) held an evening lecture series, titled ‘Owl Special Lecture,’ for student entrepreneurs selected for the ‘Future Founder’ program as part of COMEUP 2026. Held at the Gowid headquarters in Seoul, the session focused on management decision-making standards.

Led by Gowid CEO Kim Hang-gi and Lead Moon Mi-seong, the training was divided into two parts. The first session covered market competitiveness, resource allocation, and methods of securing capital through equity. The second session focused on practical financial management, including cash flow monitoring, calculating business runway, and managing monthly management indicators.

The program currently supports nine teams, including five university-based teams and four teams in the Under-19 track. Following this session, Kospo will provide online training for IR pitch deck preparation in November. The participating teams will showcase their business models through promotional booths and final pitches at the COMEUP 2026 main event at COEX in Seoul from December 9 to 11.
