Korea Startup Forum promotes COMEUP 2026 in Shanghai

The Korea Startup Forum (KOSPO) conducted a pre-promotion program in Shanghai, China, from December 21 to 23, to expand engagement with the local startup ecosystem ahead of the COMEUP 2026 global startup festival.

In conjunction with S-Tron Shanghai 2026, the program aimed to introduce the Korean startup ecosystem and foster investment and business cooperation between South Korean and Chinese entities. During the event, KOSPO hosted discussions on global cooperation under the theme ‘From K-Culture to K-Innovation: A Global Ecosystem Creating New Consumer Experiences.’

Three startups from the COMEUP Stars program—Beyond Medicine, Foretell My Health, and Rainbow Pintos Media—participated by pitching their technologies and services on the official S-Tron stage and operating individual booths to meet with Chinese investors and industry stakeholders.

COMEUP 2026, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is scheduled to take place from December 9 to 11 at COEX in Seoul. The festival plans to implement AI-based customized business matching to connect startups with venture capitalists, large corporations, and public institutions.
